This 140 room hotel is located on the legendary and beautiful island of Samui, in collaboration with the three major Thai hotel design brands OBA, August Design, and P Landscape. The hotel covers an eight acre private coastline and is located in the northeast corner of Paradise Island. The attraction of the resort fully utilizes the visual appeal of coastal landscapes, protected tree forests, and adjacent oceans to enrich the landscape.

The hotel is located in North Chaven, less than a ten minute drive from the international airport on the island. It adopts an advanced design concept and is known as the "vacation gallery" due to its series of visual highlights. At the same time, the design transforms the beautiful natural scenery into a unique experience that seamlessly integrates with the guests lifestyle.

The resort includes a display hall, which is the longest hall arrival point on Sumy Island, with numerous skylights providing natural lighting for the sun and moon. Other outstanding features include luxurious accommodations, stunning sea views of one of the largest swimming pool areas on the island, and a series of swimming pools pouring down from the main pool on the upper level of the resort. The rotation of dark and light colored tiles mimics the sparkling effect of ocean waves reflecting sunlight, and the gradual change in color tones resonates with the constantly changing ocean colors throughout the day.

Respect for the existing natural environment of Sumy Island is the cornerstone of the landscape design of the Hyatt Hotel Sumy Island. The resort has planted approximately 80 native poplar trees (Dipterocarpus alatus), which have been used as navigation landmarks by sailors and fishermen. Designer Wannaporn believes that this harmony with the surrounding environment is a good omen for the resort.
